Job Description

You will act as technical design authority for solution architects and lead developers to support them in evaluating business strategies and requirements, aligning those with existing architecture standards, and recommending build decisions for software components. Moreover, you will be a hands- on participant in architecture Proof of Concepts, innovation initiatives, and performance tuning activities. Researching/ analyzing emerging technologies, as well as designing and advocating new technologies, architectures, and products in collaboration with system and service owners is part of your profile. Same is true for identifying risks within proposed solution architectures and developing mitigation plans, and ensuring that solution architectures are scalable and sustainable for operations. You create, maintain and drive transparency on architecture- related decisions, and organize educational activities for the application developers. You document architecture views and deliver architecture artefacts required by the delivery process. Moreover, you provide technology architectural assessments, strategies, and roadmaps for one or more technology domains Updates job knowledge by tracking and understanding emerging architecture practices and standards; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications. Work from home options are available YOURE GOOD AT (CONTD) YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS) Education and Certifications BA/ MS degree in computer or information sciences or similar field Minimum of 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in IT architecture with strong technical background, preferably in large international organizations IT Architect certification: AWS Certified Solution Architect required; Open Group certification, e.g. TOGAF Certified, Certified Architect (Master or Distinguished), preferred Functional/ Technical Skills Several years of experience as IT architect (enterprise and/ or IT solution architect) in complex and heterogeneous environment Solid experience of designing end- to- end architecture and design of applications using one or more platforms Proven ability to assess and recommend architectures, technologies and vendors, with an understanding of multiple options for architectures Design and implement technical governance process as appropriate across the application development lifecycle coding guidelines, quality standards, best practices, code acceptance criteria, automation Experience in collaborating with the team in reviewing application architecture, design and implementation against quality standards Experience in design and implementation of REST APIs Working knowledge of on- premise/ cloud- based infrastructures, SDLC pipelines, and deployments/ configurations and definition/ evangelism of best practices/ standards Proven advanced experience with systems integration, IT industry standards, architecture principles design, and service level agreement definition Experienced in software delivery including CI/ CD and related DevOps practices, working with cloud based platforms such as Azure or AWS Knowledge of agile software development processes and best practice of software requirements methodologies,
