WHAT YOULL DO
This role has overall responsibility for development and technical support of one large or several smaller financial applications. Working with internal or external developers who have been assigned to that application for the course of a large project or for a designated period of time, works with the Business Systems Group, the Database Services (DBA) Group, and the Operations Group (IT Infrastructure) to provide high quality financial applications, which respond to and meet the business needs of the entire BCG Organization.
YOURE GOOD AT
Have primary responsibility for the Oracle E-Business Suite application, including development of customizations and providing second level technical support.
Have primary responsibility to manage and maintain Oracle ERP Financial modules, including working with vendor on interfaces, customizations, technical support issues and upgrades.
Develop, test, maintain and support modifications to UNIX scripts, SQL, PL/SQL code, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports and other software components as needed depending on the project or customer request.
Perform technical analysis of both packaged software applications and custom built applications and have the capacity to work on multiple projects concurrently.
Participate in technical group discussions with clients, analysts and developers (internal or external) under minimal supervision to meet project milestones.
Write concise and clear Technical Systems Design documents, based on analysis of business requirements
Work with developers from vendors in assigning and coordinating development, and in providing quality assurance.
Ensure quality and adhere to timeline of the project in cooperation with team members.
Understand and follow approved project methodology for delivery of projects. This includes appropriate levels of communication, documentation, and development process adherence.
YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS)
Education
College degree, preferably in computer science, IT, or another technical subject area
Experience/Knowledge
8+ years of relevant experience in solution design and development, systems integration, and solution implementation support.
5+ years of experience with Oracle E-Business Suite R12 or higher (AP, GL modules).
Oracle Financial implementation / upgrade experience
Knowledge about cloud platform and architecture (nice to have)
Programming Skills: PL/SQL, Oracle Developer (including Forms6i and Reports6i or later),
Experience with SQL*Loader, SQL*Plus and TOAD (or equivalent tool)
Experience with Application Object Library (AOL/FND), Concurrent Manager, Flexfields
Knowledge of standard APIs and interface tables available in applications.
In-depth functional knowledge in Oracle Apps (AP, GL) modules is desirable.
Experience as a developer in Oracle R12 and 11g DB is a plus.
