The Knowledge Expert will - Insert oneself into business as an expert advisor for case and topic/ sector teams For player/ coach model, also apprenticing and leading a team Lead proposal engagement work and apply expert knowledge to satisfy complex client demands Work with topic/ sector teams by managing and commercializing TMT Practice knowledge initiatives, products and services Country India City/ Town New Delhi Employee Type Regular Job Type Full time Travel Required Yes Travel Percent 20 Job Responsibilities Manage projects Upholds the quality of knowledge captured & standardizes processes Manages projects involving other KT, 3rd party (RC, outsourcers) and sometimes CT/ ECT or client staff Manage KT teams (after initial on- boarding phase) Resource deployment (staffing) according to business needs Plays an active role in recruitment according to business needs Designs on- boarding schedule, provides day- to- day apprenticeship & coaching for junior KT staff Long term professional development of KT Analysts inclusive of Lead & Senior Kn. Analysts (w/ Senior Kn. Expert & KBM) Evaluates performance and develops career development plans for KT staff Support Knowledge Business Manager & Knowledge Expert on change process for PA KT set- up Basic Job Requirements 9+ years of industry experience (IT Services company or sub- sector) or 5+ years in consulting & industry experience with relevant IT Services Industry focus Line & project management experience Advanced degree Deep expertise in the IT Services topic/ sector Has and builds a strong industry network Provides management support to KBM & Senior Knowledge Expert Integrates closely with local (and regional) PA- affiliated partners, and lead/ drives business development knowledge contribution Senior presence & can operate/ influence effectively in a matrix organization Well- developed management skills & business acumen Deep & recognized expertise in a topic/ sector domain with strong external network Excellent project management Superior problem solving Strong presence & leadership skills Strong business sense Company Information The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) is a global management consulting firm and the world s leading advisor on business strategy.
