Job Description

    Purpose of the positiona. Why the positions exists b. What will happen if there is no one in the position (no one performs the work) a. This position is responsible for;a) Design Role: Design of base PT & integration of PT and PT systems on vehicle applications. Responsible for all releases in time as per project milestones. Responsible for completing TRSOs and TKOs.b) Development Role: Base PT Performance & Emission development, Mechanical validation, Vehicle level calibration & Certification Responsible for application validation of PT on vehicleKey Responsibility & Key TasksContribution to planning Prepares Attribute forecast and target setting (Performance, fuel economy, NVH, emission, reliability, service intervals etc.,) for the given PT & plan for cascading down to each assembly group incorporating quality and conformity standards Conducts detailed study of the current and future technologies, comparing them and selects appropriate technology for the project in discussion with Platform Head Develops modularity/commonality plans for PTs in the platform & across the platforms in order to reduce development costPlans technical discussions with the suppliers to arrive at the optimum specification for the given PT projectEducationBE( Electrical/Electronics)B TechWork ExperienceRelevant Experience:Minimum experience requirement: 12-15 yearsWorking knowledge requirement: Latest Technology/ Regulations Benchmark know How, Engine and Powertrain Design Concepts and Principles.Tata Motors Leadership CompetenciesCustomer Centricity - Anticipating, understanding and focusing efforts on meeting the customer (stakeholders) needs or expectationsDeveloping Self and Others - Recognizing continuous development is essential for success and taking steps to develop self and helping others to excelDriving Execution - Translating strategy into action and executionLeading by Example - Encouraging and following ethical standardsLeading Change - Recognizing the need for change, initiating and adapting to changeMotivating Self and Others - Inspiring teams and individuals,
