Job Description

Sr Liferay EngineerJob descriptionJob purpose:Design & implement the best engineered technical solutions using latest technologies and tools.Who you are:

  • You have an experience of 6-10 years in Java Development (core java, spring, spring boot) (at least 1 year of designing the systems).
  • You are particular for selecting aright technology for a right problem.
  • You help to cultivate the energy of young talent in your team to get the best out of them.
  • You promote innovative ideas in your team for faster development. e.g. scripting to automate different aspects of projects.
  • You understand importance of code readability and promote clean code practices.
  • You prefer to make things measurable. e.g. build time, test suite execution time, application loading time, API execution time.
  • You love to understand the business domain of the solution along with NFR aspects.
  • Custom Portlet Development experience using JSR-286 standards with LiferayMVC and SpringMVC
  • Experience with Liferay 6.1/6.2/7+
  • Detailed hands-on experience designing and developing for the following Liferay technologies
  • Theme Development with AUI, Velocity
  • Working knowledge of Liferay Themes
  • Working Knowledge of Velocity Templating (Themes and Web Content)
  • Hands on experience to work with staging environment in Liferay
  • Hands on experience in Java Spring, Struts, J2EE

Work Location:
  • As of now we are 100% WFH and will continue WFH till its absolutely safe to visit the office.
  • Once its safe to travel, employee will visit office once in a week to once in a month (depends on his/her current location). Logistic managed by us.
