Job Description

    JOB PURPOSEConceptualize and implement new business opportunities related to stakeholders in the aero business at DIAL thus bringing additional revenue or saving costs.A Manager-Sales is handles the Export/Import vertical of Cargo Business Development, with both short and long-term goals to achieve. The Goals include driving and achieving the AOP and further developing the Cargo Business to enhance our Market Share in the territory.He is also responsible for growth of Market share of DEL across India and the globe. He will work on key projects like Transhipment, Freighters, and developing new products across territories which will be instrumental in growing the cargo volumes for DEL.ORGANISATION CHARTKey AccountabilitiesDrive Cargo Volumes for Exports/Imports as per AOP. Build relationships with Stakeholders: FreightFowarders, Airlines, Exporters, and Importers to promote DELHI Airport for incremental cargo and share. Anchor New Exporters/Imports for Cargo business. growth Regular engagement with Local Associations like CII, FICCI, FIEO, to gather market intelligence and understand the trade requirements for cargo growth. Develop specialized product offerings for New customer /existing customers based upon the existing portfolio of offerings Territory Mapping, Finding Business Prospects, visiting customers to achieve the target cargo volumes. Development of untapped markets Do the cost and Benefit analysis of DELHI and diverting cargo from competition Airports like BOM and AMD to DEL Key Account Management Participate in Cargo Events and Conferences to develop and acquire new customers. Market intelligence and Data collection Regular Reporting in terms of Key accounts visited, Lead categorization, converted leads, Converted volumes.
