Job Description

The Role:

Manager of Content Support

Chegg is looking for an experienced Manager to lead two operations support teams and drive important initiatives to scale. As Manager of these teams, you will bring together leaders across both of our India offices in New Delhi and Visakhapatnam to achieve common goals, collaborate with a variety of cross-functional teams, and optimize detailed processes. Your experience as a Manager will help guide your team members to grow as they learn from your effective prioritization skills, strong communication, and transparent management style. Your sense of people-centric leadership, ownership of business-critical support initiatives, and your eye for detail will be what drives the team to success.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage two teams of detail-oriented content moderation and support teams, from performance to process management
  • Coach, counsel, and develop team members and leads
  • Build and drive strategies around process optimization and team infrastructure to effectively support the organization s needs at scale
  • Engage and communicate critical information to leadership, cross-functional stakeholders and teams (Business Leadership, Content, Product, Engineering)
  • Steer teams, forecast requirements, analyze variances, and constantly realign teams to core business objectives
  • Balance goal achievement against team management to effectively sustain forward progress
  • Efficiently prioritize competing tasks according to impactful business objectives
  • Recommend ideas and strategies related to content logistics and moderation that contribute to Chegg s long-term vision

Qualifications:

  • 8 years management experience
  • Prior experience managing large operations teams
  • Ability to execute on large-scale operating strategy
  • Track record of data-driven management decision making
  • Strong attention to detail and superior organization skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with varying levels of leadership
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and travel minimally as needed
