Job Description

Responsibilities

One of our most recent initiatives is the MOOC on Education Policy in India . We have run two sessions of this MOOC and hope to have it running regularly from now onwards. We are also planning to run new MOOCs on Law and Public Policy and Indian Liberals . Roles and Responsibilities

Manage the structuring and delivery of MOOCs Course production, including but not limited to: 1. Scripting animated videos 2. Developing faculty recordings 3. Editing recordings 4. Creating summary/abridged versions of readings Create budgets and manage finances for projects Curate content for outreach programs as per needs and objective of the program at hand Market the MOOCs and get students to subscribe to them Build and expand network by ensuring ongoing engagement with the key stakeholders and participants of various conferences, seminars and workshops Engagement with researchers and economists to create a larger discourse on ideas on liberal approach to public policy Help build internal team capacity to deliver programs by conducting training, readings and mock sessions Responsible for successful sign-ups, engagement and completion of the course Conducting competitive research to understand the MOOC market in general Partnering with institutions/ organizations to conduct sessions/ workshops to create awareness about our MOOC Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor s degree (or above) in any of the Liberal Arts, Media, Public Policy or Law Courses with a strong educational background from a leading university. Masters or graduate degree preferable Excellent program management skills Strong technical skills, experience in setting up MOOCs preferred Strong people skills, ability to network and develop relations A minimum of 4-5 years of experience in academic or development projects Commitment to learning with an academic bent Excellent communication skills in English and ability to create and disseminate original content
