Job Description

Roles and ResponsibilitiesDesignation: Manager/ Assistant Manager PPC (Production Planning & Control)Reports to: Manufacturing HeadIndustry: Medical Devices Place of Posting: Delhi NCR, Kundli, Sonipat 2 KM from Delhi Border (Singhu Border)Role & Responsibilities

  • Prepare Monthly Production Planning, Circulation & monitor production target.
  • Convert monthly plans to weekly and daily production plan.
  • Issuance of daily Production Schedule to all concerned & track the progress.
  • Update modifications in plans to concerned departments on time.
  • Mobilize resources & facilitate smooth execution of daily production as per Plan.
  • Ensure 100% execution of business plans for Export & Domestic market.
  • Review Stock at different stages by tracking plant & warehouse level inventories and minimize WIP Material.
  • Inventory Analysis and maintain a check on Inventory Ageing, allocation of stocks & Liquidation Plan to reduce stock accumulation.
  • Enhance OEE of the Plant, Coordinate with Supporting Departments like Maintenance, Tool Room, Production etc. to speed-up timely execution of daily production plan.
  • Minimize product manufacturing cycle-time.
  • Minimize obsolete Material (Scrap/WIP/Salvage of obsolete Material etc.).
  • Initiate improvement projects on productivity, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safety, environment etc.
  • Trace material shortage & provide immediate resolution.
  • Effective utilization & implementation of SAP-PP & MM Module and prepare Master data parameter on the planning side.
  • Ensure optimum utilization of 4 Ms in Production & Planning Operation.
  • Collaborate with external customers, suppliers as well as internal departments for timely schedules adherence and dispatches.
  • Maintain optimum stock level, minimum inventory, holding cost & with thrust to control obsolescence cost.
  • Manage production of new products with effective planning in coordination with production, quality and R & D.
  • Analyse & report Gap analysis in monthly production plan supplier performance, output analysis, inventory turnover, premium freight cost of production, consumable consumption & manpower.
  • Control rejection/ rework and BOM Consumables.

  • BE/ B. Tech Mechanical preferably with MBA with 8+ year experience in Production Planning & Control (PPC) in Automobile/ Medical Device Company.
  • Prior experience of SAP Implementation and sound knowledge of master data parameter on the planning side.
  • Hands-on with detailed project/ product cost analysis and all aspects of PPC.
  • Excellent planning skills with effective and proactive implementation/ execution skills.
  • Ability to work independently under pressure and meet deliverables.
  • Excellent leadership skills with an ability to think proactively and prioritize work
  • Should be able to make his Team and strong problem solving skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office and ERP/ SAP.
  • Good written and oral communication skills with Pleasing Personality.
  • Strong ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Good team player and contributor to positive work environment.
  • Good interpersonal skills with relevant experience of handling client, vendors and stake-holders at all levels of business.
