We are looking for a Manager / Senior Manager / AGM for Import Logistics; the position is based at our Corporate Office situated at Okhla, Phase 1 in New Delhi. The job requires to do the following:- - Gathering required information and arranging all documents, certificates required for making import of mobile handsets (CBU, SKD, and Spares etc.), consumer electronics, accessories and other items - Coordinating with Agents, Banks, Exporter for arranging required certificates for pre & post shipment documentation - Monitoring of the shipment to ensure the compliance of regulations and managing Customs House Agents (CHAs), forwarders, Logistics Partner and other local supplier. - Managing ODMs and manufacturing Partners for all custom related clearance and formalities - Negotiate rates and contracts with logistics providers - Communicating technical specification, negotiating with vendors for cost effective supply of material - Governing the inventory function to monitor the expenses, streamlining the system for effective inventory control - Recommend optimal transport modes, routes or frequency - Monitor quality, quantity, delivery times, and transport costs - Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports or exports or customer issues - Prepare MIS of shipment status, pending POs, logistic costs of imports etc. and submit to management - Stay abreast with latest compliance changes in various laws concernedRequired Candidate profileExperience: 12-18 yearsPreferably male candidates - Prior exposure of handling good volume of import shipments by sea and air - Experience in dealing with ODMs, OEMs, CHAs, Freight agencies etc. - Requires a mature and positive approach to deal with multiple stakeholders - Possess good communication skills in English & Hindi - Possesses good analytical skills - Possess an eye of detailed information- Good listener and ability to work under pressure- Good Negotiator and possess good liasioning skills- Multi-tasking- Has practical exposure to MS Office especially MS Excel - Ability to work under pressure,
