Job Description

    Responsibilities :- Under guidance of NCVBDC and sector specialists, review existing M&E systems, surveillance tools and indicators in use by the government and relevant partners; identify sources of data available and flow of information- Supporting the NCVBDC in programme management issues with regards to VL and LF as well as other VBD management and/or eradication plans- Provide leadership and steering the TSU team towards time bound and quality deliverables- Facilitate development of tools for monitoring performance of surveillance for actionable guidance to states and various stakeholders- Support the TSU team in operationalizing and integrating the analytical framework with existing government systems- Support NCVBDC in developing a comprehensive calendar of events to include activities at the national as well as the state level- Assess the NCVBDC supply chain mechanisms and process, assist in forecasting of commodities, scheduling, consigning and monitoring - recommend and support in optimization- Take lead in advocacy and recommending new management as well as technology approaches to NCVBDC- Support TSU in coordinating with partners, donors, agencies, and ministries for programmatic interventions vis- vis vector surveillance issues and knowledge building/sharing- Support in design and implementation of innovative approaches and recommendations to address key surveillance gaps in the programs at the national and state level- Support NCVBDC in building capacity at the national and state level to enable efficient and effective programming through the development and institutionalization of evidence driven solutions- Undertake any other duties as requested by the TSU Lead/Director and other sector specialists- Requirement of travel within India- Other responsibilities as neededQualifications:- Relevant Masters degree in related field such as management, public policy, public health, or development with 8 + years of experience in management and system strengthening- Excellent analytical (qualitative and quantitative) skills and communication (written and verbal) skills- Demonstrated success in coordinating various stakeholders/interests and developing strong relationships in order to drive a process successfully- Knowledge of and experienced in project cycle management and well versed in logical frameworks- Experience in designing tools and strategies for data analytics and dashboard development for multilateral funded projects- Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment- Willingness to travel to states at short notice to provide technical support,
