Job Description

    We are hiring for an Indian multinational information technology (IT) services and consulting company.Mandatory Technical / Functional SkillsResource with 4+ years of experience in Core Mainframetechnologies.Expert in Cobol, Easytrieve, JCL, CICS & VSAM/IAM FileDatabase.Experience with DFSORT, SYNCSORT, ICETOOL and otherutilities.Experience in development and maintenance of codeusing EDE.Code migration and TestingExperience in Dev Ops.Experience with BMC Control-M scheduling tool.Good experience with Communication protocols like SFTPand Connect: Direct.Experience with File-Aid, Abend-Aid, ExpeditorExperience with testing Mainframe jobs, creating testplans and work with Business for UAT.Experience in writing scripts using REXX, EZT, SORT foranalysis, testing purposes.Very strong analytical skills.Good communication skills.Roles and responsibilityPerform analysis on legacy system to understand the As-Is business functionalities, architecture, integrationlayers.Analyze and gather inventory of components toremediate.Work with customer to finalize the High Level and low-level design for remediation scope.Understand the functionality of existing system anddocument the code logic.Collaborate with Business/other teams for UAT andIntegration.Plan and implement the change in phases.Desirable Technical / Functional SkillsVery good in communication and experience in leadingthe team.Understanding of Retail Domain.Good to have Informatica, UNIX and SQL knowledge.Good to have DB2 Database knowledgeExperience in working with client to understandrequirement, design, and execution delivery.Exposure to Micro Focus EmulatorExposure to any Cloud Technology
