Monitor AWS Cloud Production System for Instances, Databases and Microservices; and Cloudera Cloud Hadoop Infrastructure for Health Checks.Manage L1 help-desk for technology tools related to 24x7 Web Based Retail System and Tableau Reporting Tool.Manage L1 help-desk for technology tools requiring production access for various groups like Customer Service and Operations.Be involved with all production pushes and document monitoring instructions.Diagnose, investigate and resolve problems related to requests and queries from business users within the predetermined time frame of the SLA.Ability to analyse problems independently and identify the root cause of issues including the identification and documentation of defects using problem determination skills.Identify solutions to work around open issues / problems that are under investigation or pending resolution.Improve documentation of support policies and procedures.Escalate issues beyond the scope of resolution to Escalation Matrix.Wed love for you to have:EducationBachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems preferred.ExperienceMinimum 2 years experience in monitoring and L1 support.Process certification like ITIL is a plus.Proficiency in applications like AWS, Cloudera, Bamboo, Confluence, JIRA, Linux or similar tools related to resource management, knowledge management, document management, workflow management etc.Hands on exposure in developing Linux Shell Scripts for analysing production system logs and SQL queries for basic data metric collection.Exposure of debugging production system issues.Good analytical and organisational skills with the ability to multitask.Excellent written, oral communication and interpersonal skills.The ability to work independently with minimum supervision and as part of a team.Ability to quickly learn new applications / tools.Working knowledge of network commands and tools such as Traceroute, NSLookup, TCPdump and Wireshark.,
