Job Responsibilities as Nurse Educator: Responsible for the Nursing Educational Department and for the training provided to the nurses.Ensuring educational activities are congruent with the AHEL mission, goals, values, priorities, and resources.Providing an appropriate climate for learning, and facilitate the adult learning process by developing, planning, and presenting educational activities and directly or indirectly fostering the development of competence in the nursing staff.Assisting learners to identify both their learning needs and the effective learning activities required to meet those needs while fostering a positive attitude about the benefits and opportunities of life-long learning.Identifying changes that should be made in nursing practice using an evidence-based approach and facilitating the initiation of, adoption of, and adaptation to change.Acting as both a formal and informal consultant, assisting with the integration of new learning into nursing practice and serving as a resource by assisting nurses in identifying problems, identifying available internal and external educational resources, and selecting educational options.Designing, creating, and applying research by supporting the integration of research into practice and helping to develop staff members knowledge and skills in the research process, as well as fostering the use of systematic evaluative research with regard to clinical, educational, and managerial data.Maintaining clinical competence in their area of specialty.To keep abreast with the latest concepts, trends and issues in nursing.Integrating ethical principles in to all aspects of practice.Guides the subordinates for organizing the induction programme- Nursing HOPE, In-service education to the nursing staff as well as the certificate programme like ACLS, PALS, and NALS according to the area of work, and to organize the conferences, workshops according to the nurses needs.Providing ongoing evaluation of the quality and effectiveness of the educational activities to ensure that they maintain and enhance professional development that promotes the delivery of cost-effective high quality healthcare.Evaluation of his or her own nursing practice in relation to professional practice standards, relevant statutes and regulations, and maintaining continuing professional nursing competenceCollaborating with others in the practice of nursing professional development at the institutional, local, regional and state levels.Participating in and using evidence-based research to identify strategies for improving professional development activities, nursing practice, and patient outcomesConsiders factors related to safety, effectiveness, and cost in planning, delivering.,
