Position Objective:To perform a wide range of supportive duties for PETA India s Delhi officeReports to:Associate Director of Administration and Systems/ Associate Manager of Operations and AccountsLocation:Mumbai & DelhiDuties and Responsibilities:Manage the front desk and reception of guests and visitors.Welcome guests and make them feel comfortable, including by offering and serving water, tea, coffee and juice.Maintain an orderly, organised and clean work environment including overseeing the cleaning staff.Ensure the safety and security of the office at all times.Ensure that files, records, and other documentation and materials are kept in an organised and orderly fashion.Manage the procurement procedures and interact with vendors as needed, upon approval from the Associate Director of Systems and Administration / Associate Manager of Operations and Accounts , while keeping office expenses to a minimum.Maintain inventories of literature, T-shirts, costumes, props, veterinary equipment and other materials with the help of office assistants.Support in managing the workload, schedule and the work of Office Assistants.Maintain fixed and other assets register under the guidance of Associate Director of Systems and Administration / Associate Manager of Operations and Accounts Maintain record of incoming and outgoing couriers, posts or any kind of mailings.Assist staff in filing hard copy documents upon request.Conduct data entry upon request.Distribute couriers or parcels among the correct employees in an orderly manner.Assist staff members in scanning, printing, faxing, mailing and other such office needs.Assist with demonstrations, shoots, conferences, youth outreach and other events.Ticket and hotel booking in absence of Associate Director of Systems and Administration.Oversee PETA India s lunch programme.Take proactive steps to ensure a happy, healthy, safe and enjoyable work environment.Maintain an understanding, approachable and helpful attitude.Assist with other staff projects, as needed.Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.Position Requirements:Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.Ability to work in an organised and timely manner.Demonstrated ability to interact in a professional and courteous manner.Proven ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines.Demonstrated organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.Demonstrated ability to be trustworthy.Proven ability to maintain strict confidentiality at all times.Good writing skills and an excellent phone manners.Fluency in written and verbal Hindi and English.Professional appearance and adherence to a vegan lifestyle.Support for PETA s philosophy and the ability to professionally advocate PETA s positions on issues.Commitment to the objectives of the organisation.How to Apply: To apply for a position with PETA India, please complete this form.,
