Job Description IANs operations are spread across 7 cities in India and UK (Delhi, Bangalore, Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad and Kolkata ; London) with regular pitch sessions. IAN was launched by Prime Minister Cameron in the presence of 4 of his senior Cabinet colleagues from No 10 Downing Street. This makes IAN the worlds first angel group to set up operations outside of its home country. IAN leverages the large global market to build global foot print companies. Several innovative British companies have now joined the IAN portfolio and are rapidly scaling up across borders including India, Singapore, US, etc. So far, IAN has invested in 100 odd companies across multiple geographies (7 countries) and multiple sectors (17 sectors) like health care, F&B;, clinical trial, e-comm, semi conductor, gaming, manufacturing and many more. IANs portfolio has clocked ~44% IRR with companies giving returns like 6x in 15 months of investment, 21x in 30 months, and investee companies garnering valuations like 10x in 7 months of investment, 290x in 81 months, etc. The investment traction is extremely high at IAN where 40+ companies have raised funds during the last 12 months reflecting a 50% increase on the previous year. Best in class companies are able to raise Rs. 3 crores in less than 60 mins, 10 crores overnight reflecting a high investor engagement. Its proprietary technology platform scheduled to launch in May 2016 will bring fund raising and investing to the click of a button! Currently a Mid level role is offered to drive the IAN operations . This is a key role to be part of a team taking IAN to the next level and building the best early stage investor in the country, if not the world. The role will be eligible to a share in the Carry / or Upside which provides an opportunity to build a disproportionate compensation package. Work Profile : Core member of the IAN short listing team Assist and join the Short listing Head in meetings/ calls with entrepreneurs to access their business proposition. Assist in vetting of deals by joining meetings/ calls with IAN members Be the central resource of analytics for IAN .Prepare timely and quarterly reports. Point of contact for entrepreneurs, members and internal IAN team. Assist the Short listing Head in due-diligence of deals shortlisted on the IAN platform. This function may include: market research, competitive analysis, reference checks on entrepreneurs etc Candidate Profile Post Graduate with excellent written/ spoken communication skills and interpersonal skills.
