Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Good experience in Payroll Preparation & Time Management. Complete ownership of the payroll process.
  • End to end payroll calculation pay increases, wage garnishments, reconciling the Leave Travel Allowance and reporting.
  • Review time sheets, work charts, Salary & Tax computations, and other information detect and reconcile
  • Checking CTC Reports monthly for Accurate processing of payroll.
  • Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely.
  • Verify attendance, hours worked, pay adjustments, and Over times.
  • Record employee information, such as exemptions, transfers, and resignations, maintain and update payroll records.
  • Ensuring Compliance in Income Tax (TDS on salary) related matters.
  • End to end TDS on salary calculation, Generating the income tax (TDS On Salary) statements on monthly basis for Tax liability and its timely payment.
  • Calculating the tax liability on incentives and rewards payments.
  • Managing Payroll related legal & statutory Compliance (Tax, PF, ESIC, PT, LWF & Minimum wages) Statutory remittances to the concerned Authorities as per calendar, 100% compliance
  • Managing employee benefits program
  • Calculate the PF, ESIC, LWF and PT Provide the PF code and UAN code to new joinees.
  • Update DOL, Approve KYC, withdrawal form, Transfer form, Advances, Nominee changes.
  • Coordinating internal & statutory audits; preparing audit reports; providing necessary recommendations.
  • Preparing the reports on provisions - Bonus, Gratuity, Leave encashment, LTA and Reimbursements etc. &others along with provisioning of details to Auditor as per their requirements.
  • Performing Annual PMS exercise(salary revision, rationalization & performance pay calculations)
  • Maintenance of all Statutory Registers required by Authorities.
  • Coordinating with Bank for Employees New Account and updating with monthly payroll.
  • Managing reimbursement data related to miscellaneous heads in PMS.
  • Ensure master data updating in payroll management suite and ensure check/control on non-financial data.
  • Checking of output report downloaded from HRIS in excel v/s input received from Client.
  • Resolve employee queries.
  • Prepare reports by compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and nontaxable wages.
  • Responsible for various MIS reports like (Payroll MIS, Head count, attrition, wage cost etc.
