Job Description

Role Purpose, Key Accountabilities Responsibilities:

  • Provide support in analysing the existing product portfolio (covering client feedback and FAM trips), competitor analysis, client requirements, etc. to understand the need for a new product, review and redesign existing products. The role also requires to have a clear understanding of deliverables with the ability to design/ develop the most ideal solution with the designate priorities and timelines.
  • Conduct market research on product competiveness, consumer behaviour, monitoring market trends and identifying potential areas for innovation
  • Sourcing of new products and services to add to the content library (tours, excursions and activities, transfer services, Rep services)
  • Management of content repository, ensure digital content generation; smooth coordination with operations sales team as well as manage the online systems, maintaining the content library
  • Contribute to formulate brochures for FITs GITs , e-fliers for effective communication
  • Support in full compliance with the ISO 9001:2015 standards of the company s Quality Management System for product development and ensure product and service standards are met by operations, transport, service delivery and other units of the Organisation
  • To maintain good rapport with Suppliers and generate opportunities to work together.
  • Assist in trainings on new products and destination services for sales and operations teams
  • Define collateral for clients and communication through various channels: experience / accommodation / transport menu for accounts, website and social media, optional maps for upselling to end consumers in destination (sales in destination) to name, but a few
  • Support in destination, product and content related initiatives across the org
  • Assist with content for all communication for both internal and external stakeholders

Key Skills, Knowledge, Experience and Competencies required to fulfil role:

  • A minimum of 2-5 years experience in a Product Development, Marketing, Commercial or similar roles within the travel industry, ideally in an international corporate environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, ability to manage multiple stakeholders
  • Must have analytical structured approach to work
  • Thorough professional with a proactive attitude, capable of thinking in and out of the box
  • Working knowledge of general business IT applications.
  • Proficiency in English language, foreign language will be an added advantage
  • Empathy, cultural awareness and ethical business practices. Experience working in a multi-cultural environment would be a very valuable asset.
  • Client and results orientated with a flexible and resilient approach and the ability to build good relationships with clients, authorities and colleagues.
