The Consultant s specific role will vary depending on the project and the sector. Currently, looking for a person for the vacancy in Government and Public Sector advisory for a specific project in retail sector for a Government client. The current position is initially for a period of 1 year and is extendable based on performance.Your key responsibilitiesIndependently lead specific tracks and manage day to day client conversations. To support delivery of large business transformation programs; Day to day interaction with clients and developing high quality reports/ work products including the quality and risk procedures for projects. To support business development initiatives such as developing high quality concept notes, proposals and responses to RFPs for various projects Should have solid business consulting skills and be able to work consultatively on a strategic or operational level Must have a proven track record of outstanding performance and display a high level of people and business skills Should be at ease with a consultative approach and looking to reach your full potential Solve business and technology issues through collaboration and teaming; Use business analysis techniques to support problem solving Understand all our service offerings and actively identify opportunities to better serve clients You will also have additional responsibilities as part of our people agenda You will be responsible for your own self development; You will contribute to performance feedback for all levels of staff; You will contribute to people initiatives such as recruiting of Performance Improvement professionals; You will maintain an educational program to continually develop personal skills; You will understand, follow and communicate workplace policies and procedures to all levels of staff You will be at ease with a consultative approach and looking to reach your full potential; You will help to build valued relationships with external clients and internal peers; You will participate in presentations and proposals for medium complex projects or elements of highly complex projects; Drawing on your skills and experience to date you will work as part of a fast growing practice to deliver complex consulting assignments. This could include business/ financial analysis, process mapping, PMO, Sourcing and general Project delivery; Youll create high-quality work products and act as a subject matter resource on one or more services, leveraging knowledge and experience to shape services to client problems;Skills and attributes for success Should have solid business consulting skills and be able to work consultatively on a strategic or operational level; In addition you must have a proven track record of outstanding performance and display a high level of people and business skills;To qualify for the role you must have An MBA or master s degree from a reputed Indian or International college/ university 6+ years relevant work experience, preferably in marketing, ecommerce, network development, supply chain, retail strategy and operations is an advantage Work experience with leading retail companies or Government of India projects will be added advantage.Ideally you ll also have Strong communication, facilitation, relationship-building, presentation and negotiation skills. Be highly flexible, adaptable, and creative. Comfortable interacting with senior executives (within the firm and at the client) Strong leadership skills and supervisory responsibility.What we look for People with the ability to work in a collaborative way to provide services across multiple client departments while adhering to commercial and legal requirements.
