Developing, leading and executing purchasing function &strategies.
Planning and budgeting of involving cost estimation & contract negotiations.
Good exposure in sourcing, supplier assessment & quality standards.
Identifying and developing potential vendors / Suppliers locally & globally for the right sourcing, achieving cost effective purchases of materials
Planning, organizing and controlling all requisite activities like sourcing, evaluation, negotiation, recommendation, ordering, inspection, expediting & tracking, reporting, logistic & delivery, payment processing, etc
Creating purchasing procedures, systems, vendor assessment & enrolling procedure, product quality parameters, delivery procedures, packing process etc
Tracking and reporting key metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
Reduce raw material costs through effective negotiations with suppliers
Liaison with the production department to maintain optimum inventory.
Ensure optimum inventory levels of all the raw materials in all the plants
Implementing systems to avoid situations like over-stocking or out-of-stock which cause production and financial losses.
Coordination with finance department for timely payment of bills.
Developing reports on procurement and usage of material for top management.
Timely clearance of payments & handling vendor inquiries
Performs other duties as assigned or required.

Experience in the local/import Chemical/Plastic/Polymers RM/Master Batch
Knowledge of the Company product line, Raw materials and their sources
Knowledge of Applicable Laws and Regulations, their compliances
Knowledge of Market & technical Specs of Raw Materials, their impact on products
Business acumen Strategy Formation and Implementation
Persuasion & Negotiation Skills
