Job Description

Job title: Technical Architect/Senior Technical Architect - RFLocation: ChennaiJob ProfileNEC Corporation India Pvt. Ltd is looking for an experienced and highly talented RF Architect with strong RAN/Radio expertise at NEC Mobile Network Excellence Center (NMEC), ChennaiQualifications: BE/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech or its EquivalentScope of Work

  • Technical In-charge for RF Design and Development Requirements gathering, Macro and Micro Architecture, Estimation, Verification and Validation
  • Interaction with various vendors/ OEMs to identify the right solution
  • Technical Interface with internal and external engineering team etc. to continuously improve the quality of the product
Domain skills
  • Experience in RF Circuit design, RFSoC, GaN Amp, Filters, Duplexer/Diplexer, Extractors, Solid understanding of RF propagation principles, cellular theory, RF engineering tools and antenna theory Doherty + DPD, Active noise cancellation, Signal path, RF isolation, Spurious analysis, frequency planning etc.
  • Sound Knowledge in 3GPP Specifications and compliances testing on 36,37,38 series
  • Hands-on experience in LTE/4G/5G Radio design
  • Experience with beamforming, Massive MIMO, and millimetre wave technologies
  • Knowledge in layout of RF, Low noise, High power amplifier, antenna, multi-layered PCBs
  • Knowledge of Schematic & PCB design tools Cadence or Altium
  • Experience to use RF software for simulations, such as ADS, HFSS, Microwave office etc
  • Familiar with standard RF HW bring-up activities like matching, bring up, Calibration, Characterization, Verification.
  • Experience with 4G/5G Physical layer processing
  • Handling of Test equipment like Spectrum Analyser, VSA/VSG, UE/Channel Emulator etc.
  • Sound Knowledge in antenna array design/test, IMO radio design/test, beamforming and OTA test.
