Job Description

    Experience into Equity research and drafting of reports (buy/sell/hold/expensive) under a diverse set of categories that entail income reports, growth, penny and resource reports, and dailies. These would pertain to diverse sectors (to name a few - energy and oil, materials, mining, telecommunications, pharmaceutical, biotechnology). Frequency is decided as per the requirement of the business. - Must provide required support for the seamless operations of the report handling, preparation, review and releases - Reviewing and Managing reports prepared by Analysts - Managing and/or Preparing Main/Topical reports that are to be released on daily basis depending on movement in the market. - Managing and/or Preparing macro-economic reports/ industry overviews under newsletters based on requirement of the business. - Managing and/or Preparing Quick digest reports entailing any news items - Assisting and guiding the members of the Research team on any required work product as per the need of the business. - Uploading of ready to be released reports on companys portal. - Research securities of target industries and companies to provide investment recommendations. - Collect and interpret company data to facilitate recommendations - Develop and write research reports and publications to be presented to management or shareholders - Financial modeling: input data into proprietary financial models to create charts, dashboards and supporting material - Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry happenings and current events. - Conduct primary research from industry sources - Assisting the leadership team in providing insights for research streamlining, workflow management, and team development. - Keeping a track of portfolio performance on a regular basis and conducting activities required for performance evaluation of equity portfolio. - Catering to queries emanating from sales team and pertaining to client requirements. - Performing other suitable activities based on the need of the hour (videos/ podcasts etc.) and requirement of the business. - The timing for the report preparation, uploading, and release would vary depending on the type of respective report and in accordance with Australian time zone.- Proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting, Discounted Cash Flow Valuation, etc., preferably for stocks - Must have expertise in using financial research databases (e.g., Bloomberg, Thomson),
