Job Description

Routinely assess, design, and implement Red Hats core offerings, including Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform, automation controller, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Red Hat OpenShift Data Foundation (Ceph and Gluster), and Kubernetes based technologies
Implement automated, containerized cloud application platform solutions with a focus on infrastructure concerns including networking, storage, virtualization, security, logging, monitoring, and high availability and system resilience
Learn new technologies quickly, including container orchestration, container registries, container build strategies, cloud storage, and software-defined networks
Serve as a subject matter expert on customer site, addressing technical, developmental, or strategic IT needs
Manage problem identification, system architecture definition, software specification and design, testing, and deployment of complex open source solutions
Adapt to changing customer requirements
Respond to incidents, escalations, and exceptions in a professional manner
Deliver quality results on-site and post-engagement that are on time and within the scope of the assigned project, including project journals, status reports, and other standard documentation
Participate in sales and proposal presentations as needed in addition to completing ongoing team account activities

Bachelors degree; Masters degree in computer science, engineering, or MBA
3+ years of experience with Linux system administration, preferably Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) or a derivative
2+ years of experience working with Kubernetes, Cloud Foundry, Docker, or any other Container and Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) related technologies
2+ years of scripting or programming experience
Knowledge of system management, including installation, custom channels, deploying virtualized systems, basic client-based security, repositories, and creating core builds
Automation experience using basic Linux programming in automation languages like Ansible, Puppet, Terraform, Python, or shell; excellent shell scripting abilities in Bash
Experience creating high availability clusters, understanding key issues when implementing cluster solutions for customers, and creating and managing file systems
Knowledge of a variety of virtualization and cloud technologies, setting up virtual environments using host and guest, and migrating from physical to virtual environments
Excellent presentation and communication skills
Fluency in English
Willingness to travel up to 50%, following Red Hat s COVID-19 guidelines

Proven experience with Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform, automation controller, and any other Red Hat offerings
Knowledge of software development life cycle practices, including agile (e.g., Scrum), Waterfall, and Incremental
Agile and DevOps mindsets
Willingness to study and learn agile practices
Red Hat Certifications
Fluency in Spanish
