Job Description

Qualification : Chartered Accountant with minimum 3-5 years relevant post-qualification experience. Knowledge in ERP solutions like ORACLE will be an added advantage and is desirable;

The Main Job Responsibilities Will Be :

  • Main role is to manage and lead team members reporting to the position.
  • Verify and Authorize Bank payments
  • Manage Bank Reconciliation
  • Responsible for Statutory Compliances and maintenance of Fixed Assets Register
  • Facilitate in the annual external statutory audit
  • Routinely scrutinize Trial to check correctness of expense booking as per expense code as well as project/donor codes.

Skills and Competencies :

  • Routinely scrutinize Trial to check correctness of expense booking as per expense code as well as project/donor codes.
  • Should have strong knowledge of FCRA rules and Taxation as applicable to NGOs
  • Have working knowledge of Project Finance and Accounting
  • Should be computer savvy
  • Should be sensitive to the cause of the organisation
  • Preference will be given to candidate who have prior experience of working with NGOs and/or mid-sized organisations
  • Demonstrate ability to take initiative and problem-solving
