Job Description

    This role is for one of the Weekdays clientsWe are looking for a Senior Product Designer who is passionate about crafting exceptional user experiences. In this role, you will lead design initiatives, collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, and influence product direction through thoughtful UX design. Your expertise in user experience principles, design thinking, and interaction design will be crucial in creating intuitive and delightful products.Key Responsibilities
    • End-to-End UX Design: Lead the design process from ideation to execution, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience.
    • User Research & Insights: Conduct user research, usability testing, and data analysis to inform design decisions. Leverage qualitative and quantitative insights to enhance the product experience.
    • Interaction & Visual Design: Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs with a focus on usability and aesthetics. Ensure designs align with brand guidelines and accessibility standards.
    • Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to translate business goals into user-centric solutions. Advocate for best UX practices within the organization.
    • Prototyping & Testing: Develop interactive prototypes to test and validate design concepts. Iterate based on user feedback and testing results.
    • Design Systems & Consistency: Contribute to and maintain a scalable design system to ensure consistency across products.
    • Mentorship: Guide junior designers, share best practices, and help foster a culture of design excellence within the team.
    Required Skills & Experience
    • 5-9 years of experience in UX/UI design, product design, or related fields.
    • Strong UX expertise, with a deep understanding of usability principles, user research, and information architecture.
    • Proficiency in design tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
    • Ability to create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs with a strong focus on accessibility and responsive design.
    • Experience conducting user research, A/B testing, and usability studies to validate design solutions.
    • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions to stakeholders.
    • Experience working in agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product managers and developers.
    • A strong portfolio showcasing UX and UI projects, demonstrating a user-centric design approach.
    Preferred Qualifications
    • Experience designing for mobile applications, web platforms, or SaaS products.
    • Knowledge of front-end development principles (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to work effectively with engineers.
    • Experience with accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design.
    • Familiarity with behavioral analytics tools such as Hotjar, Mixpanel, or Google Analytics.
