Senior Programme Officer - Communications | WWF India Profile: Develop an effective communications strategy for relevant thematic areas across the Sustainable Business division Support the execution of the aforementioned communications strategy Undertake a review of existing communications materials and approach and accordingly identify opportunities for generating communication and outreach for the programme. Develop strategic communication collateral for effective dissemination of SB s initiatives to internal and external stakeholder, including media, partner organizations and donors. Develop content and collateral suitable for WWF website, brochures, newsletters, press releases, across a range of different sustainability and business themes. Liaise with WWF global network and local communications team to ensure coordination and relevance of messaging. Write regular articles in the press on relevant programme initiatives Support the team in communication efforts for workshops and events Qualifications, Experience and Competencies Required: Master s degree in mass communications, journalism, public relations 3-5 years experience in a similar role Dynamic communicator with excellent written and oral communication skills; both English and Hindi. Skills in a regional language would be an added advantage. Demonstrated leadership skills Desired Skills and Abilities: Ability to write content for various channels including case studies, feature stories etc and creatively package and reposition content in a timely manner for various stakeholders. Proactive and self-motivation with the ability to identify communication opportunities and take initiative to plan outreach activities. Ability to deliver within tight deadlines. Excellent inter personal skills and ability to identify and support communication needs of the team.
