Senior Programme Officer - Climate Change & Cities | WWF India Senior Programme Officer - Climate Change & Cities Profile: Develop and contribute to research activities related to the climate change and cities theme Developing policy/ advocacy strategies related to integration of climate change issues in city level plans and actions, in alignment with State Action plans on Climate Change Actively engage with multiple stakeholders at the city level on WWF s One Planet City Challenge (OPCC) platform Organizing workshops/ stakeholder consultations/ public events, preparing background documents/ knowledge products and other relevant documents for wider dissemination and outreach. Responsible for meeting technical and financial reporting requirements for projects, as well as contribute to project related activities ongoing in the CCE division. Qualifications, Experience and competencies required: Master s Degree in Climate Science/ Environmental Science/ Urban Planning / Natural Sciences or related disciplines, from a recognized university or M. Tech. in Environment Engineering/ Urban Management/ Urban Planning/ Climate Change or related disciplines, from a recognized university 3 years of experience in the area of Climate Change and Cities. (Candidates with lesser experience could be considered for the position of Programme Officer) Experience of working with stakeholders in the cities and government. Knowledge and proven experience of proposal and technical report writing shall be an added advantage Desired Skills and Abilities: Strong research and analytical skills Good communication, project execution & planning skills Ability to multi-task and work in a team-oriented, multi-cultural environment. Excellent inter-personal and team skills and ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.,
