Senior Quality Engineering Automation LeadWe are looking for a Sr.SoftwareQuality Engineer with hands-on automation and quality assurance experience who has worked with enterprise-level SaaS software applications. The right person for this role has technical skills and experience to create a comprehensive test strategy, automate, and QA high-scale, high-performance, UI-rich applications on a high-pace schedule. The right person for this role has an impeccable attention to detail, is obsessed with quality, and values launching products with business-driven outcomes without compromising on scope or standards of excellence.You will be joining a highly-collaborative, cross-functional team and must have clear written and verbal skills to effectively communicate with a diverse set of disciplines, ranging from UX/UI Designers, to Product Managers, to Software Developers, to Technical Writers, to other QA Leads and Senior Executives.This position requires experience testing a broad set of technologies from Web Applications, to REST APIs, to Data transformations, to SaaS services and supporting experiences. With compressed time-to-market and expansive product scope, you must be a creative problem solver and have strong hands-on experience with automation frameworks and tools to efficiently QA our software and keep-up/outperform our fast-pace development teams. • Architect the next evolution of our high-scale UI and API test automation framework
• Develop automated tests and test frameworks for frontend and backend systems powering RMS applications that enable our team to scale by removing manual processes
• Integrate test automation into CI/CD process and instrument full SDLC automation
• Design and build smoke, regression, integration, reporting and other types of test automation to assure continuous deployment
• Assure continuous delivery of high-quality, on-scope, performant products and features on a compressed schedule
• Troubleshoot critical defects and conduct RCA to guide development teams to resolution and educate product managers and stakeholders on impact of issues on customers and business
• Utilize deep understanding of SaaS applications and software engineering best practices to influence design and implementation of RMS applications
• Partner with Developers, Product leads and Quality Engineers towards achieving a high Unit and Test coverage and assure the product meets requirements and customer expectations
• Develop stable and reusable automation code that is easy to maintain and extend
• Create test plans and test cases to supplement product innovation and guide test automation strategy
• Apply ingenuity to constantly evolve RMS test practices to improve product quality while effectively managing cloud-spend and costs accrued by tests across multiple environments
• Manage multiple, concurrent, high-complexity, fast-pace projects with minimal supervision

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional experience testing web applications (smoke testing, regression testing, Business Use case/workflow testing and persona-based testing) in an enterprise software environment (as Quality Engineer, Automation Engineer, or Software Development Engineer in Test a.k.a. SDET).
• 5+ years of experience architecting, maintaining and enhancing automation frameworks for large-scale, complex SaaS applications
• 5+ years of experience testing both UI and Web Services/APIs (REST, GraphQL). UI test automation using Selenium, Cypress or similar frameworks. API test automation using REST assured, TestNG , Swagger or similar frameworks
• Expert knowledge of at least one modern programming language (such as Java) or experience with JavaScript Frameworks (such as Vue, React or Angular)
• Experience managing complex projects and test automation frameworks that integrate with continuous integration systems and CI/CD build pipelines
• Experience working with a global, diverse, geographically-distributed cross-functional team.
• Superior verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills to drive clarity across all levels of the company
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics or related field

Preferences

• (Experience working with AWS cloud platform, storage and data warehouse (S3, Snowflake, SQL, etc.) and compute technologies (Lambda, EC2, etc.)
• Experience with container-based technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes, and automating container deployments
• Experience with Azure DevOps
• Experience with contract based testing (Pact)
• Expert knowledge of Git for source code management
• Exposure with JMeter, Gatling and CloudTest
• Experience with ShiftLeft, BDD, Test Pyramid
• Experience with TestRail, Atlassian tool suite and Agile/Scrum methodologies
