Job Description

Perform routine basic biochemical and molecular biology and cell-based assays/experiments in a typical tissue culture setting.
Applicant should be able to document details of experiments in clear, concise and meticulous manner keeping in mind the highest quality and integrity of data.
Should have ability and motivation to learn in a fast-paced and creative industry setting, and personality trait that is compatible with cordial & collaborative team environment.
Candidate should have great communication skills (verbal and written), and should be driven to learn, explore and invest in new areas of discovery biology.
Genuine inclination towards collaboration and core commitment to safety, integrity, compliance, quality, and service.
Follow environment, health, and safety (EHS) requirements always in the workplace ensuring individual and lab/plant safety .

M.Sc/ M.Tech in Biotechnology, Biochemistry , Molecular biology, Genetics, Genetic Engineering or any related branch of Biology.

Candidates should be having sound knowledge of basic molecular biology concepts and willingness to implement them in laboratory setting. Hands-on experience with basic molecular biology procedures like DNA & RNA isolation, PCR, gel electrophoresis, bacterial culture and cloning, western blot would be advantageous.
Candidates should have basic knowledge and hands on experience on maintaining/culturing mammalian cell lines in a typical sterile tissue culture lab environment.
Candidates should have good understanding of transient and stable expression system.
Candidate should be familiar with basic concept of gene and protein expression and interaction of biomolecules in living systems for instance. (antigen-antibody interaction or drug-target interaction).
Ideal candidate would have hands on experience in preparing and utilizing basic lab reagents- like buffers, drug-stocks, media. Additionally, Candidate should be able to contribute in keeping up with basic lab organization, operate routine lab equipment and record and analyze data.

At least 2-6 years of post-education experience in relevant environment.
