Job Description

  • To manage various NMR projects including product testing and method development/validation on NMR
Key Responsibilities:
  • NMR sample preparations for Biological products and small molecules.
  • Effective preparation of Protocols and Reports for the relevant studies.
  • Acquire variety of multinuclear, 1D, 2D and DOSY NMR experiments.
  • Perform Identification and Quantification studies for small and large molecules on routine basis.
  • Meet all the compliances and documentation procedures at the NMR lab
  • Possess the knowledge and exposure to environment, health, and safety (EHS) practices
  • Follow environment, health, and safety (EHS) requirements at all times in the workplace ensuring individual and lab/plant safety
  • Attend training on environment, health, and safety (EHS) measures imparted company
Educational Qualification: Masters in BiotechnologyTechnical/functional Skills:
  • Interpretation of 1D and 2D NMR spectra of Organic molecules/peptides for structure confirmations.
  • Working Experience with TOPSPIN/ NMRPIPE/ CARA/ SPARKY/ ACD/Labs etc.
  • Develop Identification and quantification methods for small molecules by NMR.
  • Basic working experience in bio-analytical instrumentation techniques (AUC/UPLC etc) specially for peptides, mAbs, sample reconstitution, buffer exchange, Extraction of excipients from Drug Product formulation.
  • Prior NMR working experience with protein aggregates/Metabolomics is added advantage.
  • Experience in filling cryogens to the Magnets.
Experience:3-6 years post qualificationBehavioural Skills:
  • Should have the capability to work in a team and ability to handle demonstrate a good team spirit.
  • While possessing a good ability to follow instruction should also demonstrate innovative in his/her approach, good communication skills.
  • Should be proactive while working on allotted responsibility.
