Job Description

    Unravel is on the mission to radically simplify modern DataOps. It simplifies the way data teams monitor, observe, manage, troubleshoot, and optimize the performance and spend utilization of large-scale modern data applications. Unravel s AI-based platform also accelerates data migration to the cloud by providing migration assessments with actionable insights.
    • Write scalable data processing code to analyze and transform data in a scalable and robust fashion.
    • Contribute to developing an AI platform that supports intelligent observability of Big Data technologies (such as Spark, Hive, Impala,, Kafka, Presto, etc.), both on-premise and all the major Cloud providers.
    • Excellent analytical skills.
    • Understand the problem and come out with solutions.
    • Expert in Java, Design and Leadership skills.
    • Strong understanding of multi-threading, event management, and data processing concepts.
    • Prior experience in developing high-performance scalable applications with Java.
    • Experience in Kafka, Big Data, Spark, Airflow. Has worked in it, know the internals.
    • Knowledge of AWS, Azure, DataBricks and cloud architecture.
    • Better understanding of JVM internals and serialization protocols such as gRPC, Protobuf, Thrift.
    • Previous experience as a data engineer building large scale data processing systems, analytics platforms, recommendation engines etc.
