JOB DESCRIPTIONWe are now looking for a Sr. System Engineer to provide comprehensive pre-sales in technical support to web2.0 and cloud customers. This full-time position requires close collaboration with NVIDIA regional sales and BD team to drive revenue and business growth. The role requires a strong knowledge of the Server/Cloud Computing ecosystem as well as HPC/AI ecosystem partners. Strong technical and pre-sales background is preferred.What youll be doing:Drive design-in and design-win of Nvidia networking technologies and products into a customer data center.Leads cross-functional internal team (AE, PM, Arch, Engineering) to solve complicated technical issues from the customer, track the status of customer projects and share feedbackProvide technical pre-sales support and deliver POC to customers.Understand customer requirements through architecture-level discussion, drive new features, and value into Nvidia networking product.Provide support to solve complicated issues reported during the integration of Nvidia networking technology/product with customer applications.What we need to see:B.S/Master/Ph.D. in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.Minimum 6 years of software development or support experience in cloud and networking.Good English communication skills.Located in Shanghai/Hangzhou and travel is requiredGood experience on cloud technology including KVM/Xen/Vmware, SDN, OVS, SRIOV and VirtIOGood experience in networking technology, including packet processing technology like DPDK and P4, HW offloading features provided by HW, understanding ethernet protocols (L2, L3, and L4) and overlay protocol (VxLAN, GRE, Geneve, etc).Good experience in Linux OS, Kernel, and computer architecture.Good skills to debug and solve complicated technical issues (including performance issues) with different Linux and other tools.Experience on programming with C and Shell scriptsKnowledge of RDMA, Storage, and AI/BigData is a plus.
