Senior Teacher / Teacher Trainer - New Delhi Summary (subject to change): Duties and Responsibilities:Planning, preparing and teaching all or part of the TESOL TKT / TESOL Business / TESOL TYL teacher training programs for Greystone College, New Delhi Level assessment of potential candidates and counseling them on the program Assisting in setting up the practicum component of the program Conducting info sessions for potential TESOL candidates/ institutions in Delhi and elsewhere in India Supporting ILSC teaching staff through lesson observations and feedback Conducting pedagogical workshops and in- house teacher training for ILSC staff Assisting the director in interviewing and hiring new teaching staff, if necessary Teaching regular language classes and subbing, as necessary Assisting in academic administration, teacher orientation and academic meetings Assisting colleagues who work on special programs to create standardized curricula Other administrative tasks, such as student counseling and reception duties Qualifications: Masters, DELTA or TESOL Standard 2 2 Years of EFL Teacher Training experience Ability to take initiative and work independently Communication and interpersonal skills Senior Teacher/ Teacher Trainer reports to and takes direction from: Monday to Friday - 9:00 5:00 standard, but subject to change as per class timings. Occasional Saturday and Evening timings may be necessary Sick Days, National Holidays, and Days Off: The employee is entitled to five paid sick days per year; after five sick days, the employee will take non- paid sick days. The employee will be paid for the statutory Indian holidays as outlined in the school calendar. The employee is entitled to 10 paid personal days off per year. A written request for time- off needs to be submitted at least 2 weeks in advance. Long- term candidates preferred, short- term and foreign candidates considered case by case,
