Solution Lead 5G Transport Network

Job Description

Position Title: Solution Lead: 5G Transport NetworkWork Location: Gurgaon Solution lead for Network Design, Planning and Optimization for Trail / Commercial sites Key Responsibilities Shall be responsible for:
1. Perform detailed engineering activities regarding Radio Network Planning and Optimization for 5G /NR and LTE Network.
2. Conduct Trail /PoC at Lab and Field sites for 5G NR testing specially its Throughput, Latency and other features.
3. Preparation of Radio Network Design for Green field / Brown field site.
4. Preparation of KPI formulas based on Radio parameters and counters for 5G / LTE.
5. Co-ordinate closely with System design team and R&D for all the requirements related with Radio Parameters and KPI. Check O-RAN Alliance and 3GPP Technical specifications and provide input to the relevant team.
6. KPI monitoring and NW quality assurance as per agreed SLA with the customer.
7. Model tuning, Link budget preparation, Feature implementation & its testing.
8. L2/L3 messages analysis for call drops, failures and other troubleshooting.
9. Engage closely with the customer to understand Customers business priorities, use case and current architecture and able to implement the details accordingly.
10. Capture, analyse and pro-actively shape customers requirements that include both functional and non-functional requirements.
11. Presentation to customer on the proposed solution and be a trusted technical advisor to the customer.
12. Hands-on experience to execute independently the Proof-of-concepts and trials in customer labs.
13. Able to handle independently RFI/RFP responses by working in a collaborative manner with all stakeholders (Solution Lead, Sales/Account teams, Finance, Legal).
14. Solutioning and cost preparation for the NPO services for various bids for CSP and Enterprises.
Key Deliverables
1. Understand customer needs and pro-actively engage with customers to shape requirements.
2. Create end-to-end solution document that has detailed design and implementation approach.
3. Radio KPIs, Counters and Parameters.
4. Successful execution of Proof-of-concepts and trials in customer labs.
5. Test Plan and Test strategy.
6. Capacity and Coverage planning.
7. High quality and timely submission of RFI/RFP responses.
Qualification Required Preferred
• B. Tech ECE or CS 1. M. Tech
• Mandatory Skills/ Certification
• Good understanding of LTE and 5G interworking.
• Understanding 5G Air Interface, 5G Applications & Use cases, 5G Protocols.
• Good knowledge of O-RAN and 3GPP technical specifications for RAN.
• Very through and deep understanding of Radio Parameters and KPI.
• Should have expertise on Network Design form RAN Macro sites and Small cells
• Experience in Link Budgeting, Network Dimensioning, RF Model Tuning and Nominal Cell Planning,
• Coverage and Capacity Augmentation in 5G and LTE.
• Spectrum Cleaning testing, CW testing, Model Tuning, PCI Planning, PRACH Planning, TAL/TAC Planning, RSI Planning/Prediction Generation, New Site Planning(Coverage/Capacity), PCI Planning, Neighbor Planning & tuning
• Have good knowledge on iperf, QXDM, QCAT, TEMS, XCAL, Wireshark, Emil, MUSA, 9955 RNP, Atoll and other NPO tools.

Required Experience
• 10-15 years of experience on Network Design, Planning and Optimization.

• At least 2 years of experience in Pre-sales domain for services related to NPO.
