Job Description

  • The Infrastructure Services Solution Manager engages with the client and other key stakeholders, as appropriate to the level of solutioning required, to understand the strategic priorities, business, and technical requirements, issues and tactical problems and to develop and articulate robust and innovative technical solutions.
  • You will need to review, and modify the solution, with the internal/external client and key stakeholders, to meet deal requirements and to close the deal for IBM.
  • As a part of the sales team to develop and build project and managed services solutions for clients.
  • You will lead cross-geography, cross line of business teams of subject-matter experts in their respective domains. You will leverage the full breadth of services, labor, assets, and software products to develop complex, multi-year solutions, and optimized cost cases that meet client requirements and needs considering the clients base case and IBMs profitability.
  • A Solution Manager fills a critical role in the overall success of the engagement pursuit and is the primary technical contact in an engagement. He/she works in conjunction with the larger pursuit team (Sales, TSM, HR, C&N, Delivery, Pricing, Risk, etc.) to deliver a winning solution. The employee focuses on individual/team/department/ operational objectives.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Should have skills in Virtualization like Vmware & Redhat Virtualization, hybrid cloud, private cloud & hypervisor converged architectures (Vmware/vRealize and Red Hat openstack), public clouds like AWS, Azure & IBM and Redhat Openstack cloud tools, microservices & containers architectures on Public & private cloud and container orchestration using Kubernetes, DevOps with Redhat Openshift and Ansible Automation, software defined data center, automation tools, various infra and application level clustering solutions.
  • Should have dealt with solutions related to security and disaster recovery on cloud. Should have created solutions across multiple Industry verticals. Should have exposure to Core applications ERP/SAP/Oracle etc. from a perspective of IaaS and PaaS on Cloud and legacy infrastructures.
  • Should have been building solutions on Cloud technologies for client engagements with architecture, migration, and managing the hybrid cloud environments.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise Certified Architect (RHCA) is a Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE), Red Hat Certified Enterprise Microservices Developer (RHCEMD), or Red Hat Certified JBoss Developer (RHCJD) who has attained our highest level of certification. Skills in OpenShift, Ansible, Sterlite, CloudForm, etc. to put together various stacks in a Multi-Cloud environment ,
