Job Description

Urgent hiring for Sr. Firmware Embedded DeveloperRoles and Responsibilities:-

  • Design, develop and test embedded firmware for micro-controller based consumer products. (ARM M0/M4 and 8051 variants, TI based PIC, Xtensa Lx6 based multicore CPUs like ESP32).
  • Design firmware and software performance parameters and optimise firmware from memory and CPU consumption perspectives via various tools such as LINT, Coverity etc.
  • Quickly develop and prototype various technology use cases based out various connectivity technologies like BLE SIG mesh, Wi-Fi mesh, Integrate open source libraries and components like Bluez, WPA-supplicant, OpenCV etc.
  • Closely work with Electronics/hw team and software, application teams to get firmware functional.
  • Good understanding of IOT subsystems such as device and cloud interactions and able to define such interfaces working closely with various engineering teams.
  • Prepare unit, system, integration test plans for the developed and designed firmware.
  • Maintain accurate records (documentation and repository) throughout the development process.
Experience:- 3-6 years of relevant experience primarily in Product Companies or working on embedded software development teams for electrical or electronic consumer goods and products.Skills:-
  • Strong background in embedded systems programming and debugging.
  • Strong understanding of operating systems and concepts like Linux, RTOS and bare-metal programming of low resource microcontrollers.
  • Good understanding of various compiler tool-chains and make systems viz cmake, GNU makefiles etc, Cross Compilers and invoking same via command line with various required parameters.
  • Expertise in coding, debugging with embedded software programming Languages C, C++
  • Familiar with wireless technologies similar to NFC, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and related software stacks.
  • Knowledge in popular SW development methodologies: Agile, SCRUM, Waterfall,
