Sr. Manager - Enterprise Data Management Senior Manager

Job Description

Years of Experience: Candidates with 12-16 years of hands on experiencePosition Requirements:Must Have: Experience in Data Conversion / Data Migration / Data warehousing projects using ETL tools like Informatica PC, Datastage, SSIS, ODI etc., Experience in DW/BI Deployments. Must have proven experience with Star and Snowflake Schema techniques Experience in Data Modeling and Data Architecture Hands on experience in designing and implementing large scale transformation programs in Cloud, Enterprise Data Management Data extraction from different sources such as SQL Server, Teradata, flat files, Excel, and XML files Should be proficient using Master Data Management, Data Quality and Data Governance Strong SQL Skills and performance tuning capabilities Develop and deploy ETL/ELT job workflow with reliable error/exception handling and rollback. Manage foundational data administration tasks such as scheduling jobs, troubleshooting job errors, identifying issues with job windows, assisting with Database backups and performance tuning. Design, Develop, Test, Adapt ETL/ELT code & jobs to accommodate changes in source data and new business requirements Proactively communicate innovative ideas, solutions, and capabilities over and above specific task requests Support ETL developers by providing technical assistance, troubleshooting and alternative development solutions. Participate in design review sessions and ensure all solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications. Should have clear understanding of DW Lifecycle and contributed in preparing technical design documents and test plans Partner with the Data architect to drive improvements and enhancements to the current data landscape and future strategy Partner with Leadership team to ensure the successful delivery of projects. Identifies necessary changes to current business process and Identifies opportunities for solution sharing and reuse. Good analytical & problem-solving skills Good communication and presentation skillsDesired Knowledge / Skills: Experience / Knowledge on other ETL tools like Snaplogic, Talend, Pentaho etc., Sound knowledge on Cloud environment like AWS, Azure, IICS Worked in Offshore / Onsite Engagements Cloud data technologies, Data Lake, Big Data, Snowflake DB (Cloud), Red Shift Should have expertise in Third party schedulers (Cronicle, UC4, etc.,)Professional and Educational Background: BE / B.Tech / MCA / M.Sc / M.E / M.Tech / MBAAdditional Information: Travel Requirements: Travel to client locations may be required as per project requirements.
