Job Description

Top VCs such as Menlo Ventures, GGV Capital, and Microsoft Ventures back our company.Unravel is actively hiring & looking for Staff/Sr Engineers to join the Big Data Operations Teams across the geographical location who are ready to jump right in and help us build on our incredible momentum, our diverse, engaged workforce, and our purpose to make the world of work, work better and smooth function of DataOps ML/AI-Driven Unravel Product.About The Role
    • Understand Big Data architecture, Design then implement highly effective automated methods to build and update big data ML-driven DatOps Platform & infrastructure
    • Manage and operate Big Data application system stack, provide Installation/ operational support for Unravel Products for on-prem & cloud
    • Automating the triaging Patterns & Improving Unravel Products towards scaling for On-prem, AWS, DataBricks, GCP, SaaS
    • Managing/Troubleshooting Hadoop Clusters (CDP, CDH, HDP, MapR, EMR, Dataproc)
    • Documenting processes, runbooks, and infrastructure
    • Determine operation metrics to measure operation and service quality
    • Drive issue resolutions and root cause analysis with on-call duty
    About You
    • 3+ years of recent experience in data operation engineering
    • Bachelors Degree or more in Computer Science or a related field
    • You will report to your hiring manager and work with different teams
    • Good knowledge of Linux internals and shell scripting
    • You develop with python to automate infrastructure buildup and changes
    • You are experienced in Cloudera CDH/CDP platform or AWS Cloud Services, e.g., EC2, EMR, DataBricks will be a big plus
    • Deep understanding of Hadoop/Big Data Ecosystem
    • Good knowledge in Querying and analyzing large amounts of data on Hadoop HDFS using Hive and Spark Streaming and working on systems like HDFS, YARN, Hive, HBase. Spark, Kafka
    • Experience securing Hadoop stack with Sentry, Ranger, LDAP, Kerberos KDC
    • You hold operation, production support, and troubleshooting experience
    • You have programming experience in Ansible, Terraform to meet goals
