Job Description

  • Translating user requirements and develop end to end applications.
  • Working on complex Hadoop eco system technologies. Should strong in Java and should be strong in at least one of Spark, Storm, Pig.
  • Coming with right architecture for complex business problem we are solving.
  • Building applications by following coding standards, builds appropriate unit tests, integration tests, and deployment scripts.
  • Collaborating with leads to explore existing systems, determine areas of complexity, potential risks to successful implementation, learn the applications capabilities.
  • Taking ownership of the tasks assigned and is able to execute it in agile and ambiguous environment.
  • Contributing to continual improvement by suggesting improvements to user interface, software architecture or new technologies.
  • Mentoring junior employees and be ready to shoulder ad-hoc responsibilities as needed.
What we re looking for.You ll need to have:
  • Bachelor s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Four or more years of working experience translating user requirements and developing end to end applications - Hadoop, Spark, Druid and related technologies.
  • Four or more years of experience on one of the Hadoop technologies Pig, Hive, Storm, Spark.
  • Java related working experience.
Even better to have:
  • Strong database querying skills using advanced SQL/procedures on MySQL/MongoDB/MariaDB/Oracle.
  • Experience working on agile projects and is well aware of the agile practices and tools used in the development (Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, etc.)
  • Experience as a hands-on contributor to the architecture, design & development of the projects.
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal.
  • Ability to clearly articulate and influence stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in agile ambiguous environment and can effectively juggle between competing priorities.
