Job Description

    System Administrator Internship
    • Learn our existing tools and offerings;
    • Gain an understanding of the problems we are trying to solve with our current solutions portfolio;

    • Good written and verbal communication skills
    • Passion for technology, working the open source way and upholding brand standards
    • Ability to work well on your own and in teams; experience with and an appreciation for agile principles and practices
    • Knowledge of and the ability to learn various development and scripting languages (specifically Python), as well as workflow automation
    • Passion for solving complex problems
    • Currently pursuing a degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field
    • Knowledge of the UNIX or Linux operating system (Any distribution)
    • Coding experience in languages like C or Python, is a plus
    • Must be currently enrolled in 3rd or 4th year of a Bachelors degree or in a Masters degree in an accredited university program in the Czech Republic
    The following are considered a plus:
    • Solid written English communication skills
    • Knowledge of and the ability to learn Red Hat Enterprise Linux or Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization (RHEV)
    • Knowledge of and the ability to learn Red Hat Openshift, Openstack, and/or Virtualization platforms
    • System Administration (Linux and scripting skills, NetApp, Infiinidat or Ceph storage experience
    • Software-defined networking or Storage experience
    • Knowledge of and the ability to learn Object storage, including S3
    • Knowledge of Kubernetes, JavaScript, or Bash scripting
