Job Requirements

Ideal Qualifications Experience: (BE / B.Tech (E C, E TC , CS , IT) )

  • 4-6 Years of technical exposure in a customer facing role in Telecommunications / Data communications Industry.
  • Understanding of telecom/datacom software and hardware testing concepts and methodologies
  • Hands own experience using testing products like Spirent/Ixia/Viavi etc
  • Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ownership and commitment towards success of business
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple activities of conflicting priorities.
  • Technical Knowledge in the following areas/products
    • Experience in Switching, Routing, Access, etc. and Application layer protocols -- Implementation experience is an added advantage.
    • Good understanding of network and application security domain
    • Knowledge in the Mobile Evolved Packet Core (EPC) and wireless concepts
    • UpToDate understanding of 5G technology and its significance in mobile communication
  • Problem Solving skills
    • Develops solutions to complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires creativity and innovation.
    • Demonstrates ingenuity and encourages outside-the-boxthinking.
  • Proven instances of customer focus
  • Certifications including CCNA, CCIE, JNCIE etc are a plus.
Responsibilities
  • Provide direct pre-sales and post-sales support to key customers.
  • Establish strategic working relationships with assigned clients and under each clients technical and business needs -- This involves considerable amount of travel to interact with clients
  • Work as part of the Spirents Sales team and provide technical closure in engagements as required to complete sales objectives.
  • Understand and effectively document customer requirements, pitch Spirents products and solutions after thorough analysis.
  • Effectively work with internal/external teams to fulfill customers requirements.
  • Prepare product documentation based on customer requirements
  • Provide technical demonstrations, presentations and training to customers.
  • Provide post-sales support as required.
  • Willing to read/review and be up to date with the new Specifications from IEEE/IETF/MEF etc
  • Plan and own the marketing activities across the clients.
  • Work with Spirent Support and Engineering teams to resolve customer issues.
  • Understand potential product improvements and update Product Management team with feature requests and enough business justification.
  • Primary focus will be on 70% technical activities and 30% business development.
