You will be a driver of business growth through the development of new business and by expanding business with current customers. You be recognized as a leader in selling clinical workflow solutions within the sales force.What will you do

  • Territory Management and Development:
  • Build a territory and clinical business development plan for the portfolio, gain stakeholder alignment and implement the aligned plan to exceed sales targets.
  • Consistently and accurately manages the sales process including sales forecasting, pipeline management and sales tracking.
  • Capitalizes on local marketing innovations to expand programs within the designated territory.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
  • Orchestrates resources and personally engages key customers for the benefit of the clinical qPCR consumables business and related applications
  • Produce forward customer territory plans, maintain an accurate, detailed customer record in the CRM.
  • Product / Market Knowledge:
  • Develops and maintains deep current knowledge of genetic analysis markets, products and buying practices.
  • Utilizes product and application knowledge across the genetic analysis portfolio to successfully apply consultative and strategic selling presentations.
  • Understands the goals of clinical accounts, priorities and challenges such that life science solutions are best positioned to address customer needs.
  • Provides foundational clinical qPCR technical and Sales Training to the wider sales team
  • Provides internal partners with business planning and development consulting to ensure effective strategies
  • Expands internal networks, contacts and relationships to maintain selling effectiveness.
How will you get here Education
  • Requires a master s or PhD degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Genetics or related field; or the equivalent knowledge and experience.
Experience
  • Minimum of 6-8 years of sales experience in the Clinical field is preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of genetic testing, molecular diagnostics and clinical space.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
  • Extensive knowledge of qPCR technologies required.
  • Must have scientific consulting acumen - demonstrates the highest level of product and technical knowledge of qPCR and its applications within a clinical setting
  • Knowledge of other Genetic platforms valued.
  • Sales acumen and Independent Driver - accomplished sales skills, can speak to competitive technologies and demonstrates value as a supporting partner in the pre-sales process, while also independently driving sales to meet sales targets.
  • Similar field application support experience will be considered.
  • Knowledge of clinical accounts in territory is preferred. Residence in the specified territory is a must.
  • People with great influencing skills, great sales rigour to get results through others
  • At least 25% and up to 50% travel required
