Enabling suppliers and ODM partners with Validation best practices. Developing and deploying a sustainable validation process for key technologies. Customer Validation Environments Understood knowledge of our customer environments, workloads, deployment architectures and usage models. Collaboration with Development - To Implement Defect Detection & Prevention Methods. Industry Leading Efficiency - Scope, People, Lab. Standardized Test Practices and Measures Through the use of industry TMMi L3 processes. Mature Automation Strategy - Automation Anytime, Anywhere, by Anyone . Advanced Test Engineering Simulation & statistical analysis.Key Responsibilities:
• Develops and documents test plans and test cases for newly developed or current hardware and solutions products.
• Develops test tools and automation for in use testing.
• Directs a test team during test execution, and reports results to development engineers and leadership
• Creates test plans that include resource requirements, schedule assumptions and scope based on inputs from the Development and Marketing
• Provides the Engineering Manager with a High Level Test Strategy and comprehensive test plan for new hardware and solutions products
• Oversees the execution and reports the results of product validation on new hardware and solutions products
• Interfaces with external validation partners to develop comprehensive test plans and tests coverage across multiple test organizations
• Manages and reports on test deliverables and test execution from validation partners.
• Experienced test execution engineer and strong in testing concepts.
• Strong domain knowledge in Systems Management. Detailed understanding of any one of the protocol like SNMP, WSMAN, REDFISH, IPMI etc.
• Understanding of servers and its components.
• Own the test cases and test strategy of for multiple key components of a product.
• Guide team members within the team and resolve their challenges.
• Good communication skills.
• Good knowledge of one or more server operating systems (Windows or Linux).
Essential Requirements:
• Well versed with IT lifecycle management, i.e Data center, Server, Storage & Network.
• Expert and working knowledge of common coding formats
• Should be proficient in building test setups, should have good HW and SW troubleshooting skills.
• Should be a proficient user of Windows Operating Systems
• Knowledge of Python, C, C++ will be an added advantage
• Working experience on Microsoft products
