Responsibilities and DutiesDesign teaching materials to sustain students interest in the subject.Prepare weekly lesson plans on time.Interact with students, parents, and faculty.Design appropriate teaching plans and schedules.Evaluate and grade students class work, assignments, and papers.Compile, administer, and grade examinations.Maintain student attendance records, grades, and other required records.Prepare course materials such as syllabi, homework assignments, and hand-outs.Maintain regularly scheduled office hours in order to advise and assist students.Plan, evaluate, and revise curricula, course content, and course materials and methods of instruction.Initiate, facilitate, and moderate classroom discussions.Select and obtain materials and supplies such as textbooks and laboratory equipment.Advise students on academic and vocational curricula, and on career issues.Collaborate with colleagues to address teaching and research issues.Prepare and submit required reports related to instruction.Maintain course attendance and grade records in accordance with Department guidelines.Participate in campus events.You will have to follow & abide by all the rules & regulations mentioned in CBSE bylaws.
