Job Description

Job DescriptionAs aCMS Developer for Magento, wordpress and other technologies, you will play an integral role in designing and developing new features and frameworks for the company to achieve personal and organizational goals.We are looking for a PHP Developer with at least 1.5 years experience who is dedicated to thecraft, writes code that they areproud of and can hit the ground running.Candidate must have:

  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-changing environment. Should be results oriented, proactive and showing overall leadership quality
  • Experience with server management systems like Cpanel/command prompt
  • Hands-on programming with ability to lead technology team
  • Proven web development experience in PHP
  • Experience working with Magento
Preference to the candidate with additional knowledge like:
  • MVC such as Zend, CakePHP, Codeigniter, Symphony.
  • Frontend Designing Skills (namely CSS3, and JavaScript)
  • Web aesthetics (understanding element arrangements on the screen, the color and font choices, and creative thinking for so).
  • Prior experience in E-commerce
  • E-commerce experience with SugarCRM, CRM, Magento, Payment solutions etc
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Designing and implementing new features and functionality in current running projects.
  • Develop, record and maintain cutting edge web-based PHP applications on portal plus premium service platforms
  • Conduct R&D for new project or upgrade proposals in order to determine best possible approach under current environment
  • Demonstrable knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX etc
  • Ensuring high-performance, availability and security, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS
  • Developing, debugging, testing, and optimizing custom web applications
  • API/Integration with Payment gateways, shipping providers, template Integration and other third party (Google, Facebook) integration.
  • Investigate and report any operational/technical issues arising. Test and deploy functional projects/improvements.
  • Liaise with internal resources regarding the day to day management of the website and communicate with management and other developers.
  • Evaluate approaches & strategies to improve website sales conversions & customer engagement.
  • Improvements in applications performance metrics such as load time, mobile responsiveness and site SEO
  • Working with marketing team to co-create effective campaigns and modifying web applications to achieve marketing objectives
  • Identifying bottlenecks and bugs, and devising solutions to these problems
  • Helping maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
  • Configuring multiple stores, vendors and authentications (permissions) etc.
  • Active course setting, detailed planning and executing improvements to the tech applications.
  • Good knowledge of relational databases, version control tools and of developing web services
KEY SKLLS
  • Build Reusable PHP modules
  • Strong business communication and networking
  • Object-oriented application building experience in a professional Agile/Scrum environment.
  • Full stack developer with significant experience across platforms on PHP + HTML5 + JQuery Expert + SQL, GIT (version control)
  • Capability and enthusiasm to work on multiple CMS and integrate them together for a project requirement.
  • Understanding of User Interface workflows.
  • Knowledge working closely with distributed version control systems.
  • Experience in test automation and test-driven development.
  • Experience with AWS/EC2, or other cloud services.
  • Flexible attitude, ability to perform under pressure
  • Strong problem solving skills
