Job Description

    Our client is at the forefront of the insurance and broking industry, committed to delivering exceptional solutions to our clients. We are currently on the lookout for a seasoned and dynamic professional to assume the role of Zonal Manager for Group Sales Broking. This strategic position involves overseeing a team of Area Managers, ensuring successful corporate client acquisition, superior servicing, and driving sales of Group Medical Covers (GMCs).Key Responsibilities:
    1. Inspirational Leadership and Team Management:
      • Provide strong and inspirational leadership to a team of Area Managers, cultivating a culture of high performance.
      • Guide and oversee Area Managers in their responsibilities related to corporate client acquisition, servicing, and GMC sales.
      • Collaborate closely with Circle Managers (CM) to align strategies and maintain seamless communication across all levels.
    2. Strategic Vision and Execution:
      • Develop and execute strategic plans for the Group Sales Broking channel, ensuring synchronization with broader business objectives.
      • Stay vigilant to market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes, adapting strategies proactively.
    3. Team Empowerment and Skill Enhancement:
      • Conduct regular and impactful training sessions for Area Managers, focusing on refining skills in corporate sales, client servicing, and in-depth understanding of GMC products.
      • Foster an environment that promotes continuous professional development and growth.
    4. Client Acquisition and Exemplary Servicing:
      • Oversee the acquisition of corporate clients, forging robust relationships with key stakeholders.
      • Ensure the delivery of efficient and effective service to corporate clients, maintaining elevated levels of satisfaction.
    5. Sales Excellence and Target Attainment:
      • Establish and monitor ambitious sales targets for the Zonal team, ensuring the realization of goals in GMC sales.
      • Implement inventive incentive programs and recognition initiatives to inspire and reward high achievers.
    6. Strategic Regional Expansion:
      • Manage the entirety of the North India region, focusing on Delhi and occasional travel to metro cities like Chandigarh and Lucknow.
      • Strategically expand market presence by identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities.
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelors degree in Business, Sales, or a related field; MBA preferred.
    • Demonstrated experience in insurance broking with a specialization in corporate sales and GMCs.
    • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a proven track record of leading Area Managers.
    • In-depth understanding of the insurance industry, market dynamics, and regulatory landscape.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
