Job Description

    Department: Finance/AccountingReports to: ManagerReports to:Only Male CandidatesJob Summary:The Junior Accountant will be responsible for supporting the accounting team in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and assisting with various accounting processes. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience and develop accounting skills in a dynamic environment.Key Responsibilities: Data Entry: Input financial data into accounting software with accuracy and efficiency. Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accurately recorded. General Ledger Maintenance: Assist in maintaining the general ledger by recording daily transactions and preparing journal entries. Financial Reporting: Help prepare financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. Expense Tracking: Monitor and track company expenses, ensuring proper documentation and categorization. Assistance in Audits: Support the accounting team during internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information. Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures, and assist in the preparation of tax documents. Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the finance department, including filing, organizing documents, and handling correspondence.Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Experience: 0-2 years of accounting experience; internships or relevant coursework in accounting is a plus. Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software Tally. Strong MS Excel skills, including the ability to create spreadsheets and use functions/formulas. Knowledge: Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations. Analytical Skills: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial analysis. Communication: Good written and verbal communication skills. Organization: Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
