Job Description

    We are hiring for our client - The Trauma Academy Northwest, LLC.OverviewA Mental Health Therapist plays a vital role in providing mental health support and therapy to individuals dealing with emotional, behavioral, and psychological issues. They work with clients to assess their mental health, develop treatment plans, and offer therapeutic interventions to improve their overall well-being.Key Responsibilities Conducting mental health assessments and developing treatment plans Providing individual or group therapy sessions Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques Assessing clients for suicide risk or other safety concerns Collaborating with other healthcare professionals Offering crisis intervention as needed Documenting client progress and treatment outcomes Providing psychoeducation to clients and their families Advocating for clients needs and rights Participating in ongoing professional development Utilizing telehealth platforms for remote therapy sessions Conducting research to inform therapeutic practices Utilizing behavioral and cognitive assessments Implementing treatment modalities for specific populations, such as children or veteransRequired Qualifications Masters or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or related field Licensure as a mental health therapist or counselor Clinical experience in a mental health setting Knowledge of diagnostic criteria for mental health disorders Ability to develop and implement treatment plans Understanding of ethical and legal considerations in mental health counseling Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team Strong crisis intervention and risk assessment skills Experience in trauma-informed care and cultural competence Familiarity with electronic health record systems Commitment to ongoing professional development and supervision Ability to maintain confidentiality and ethical boundaries Knowledge of various therapeutic modalities and interventionsSkills: advocacy,active listening,communication skills,treatment plans,professional development,communication,research,therapeutic techniques,cognitive assessments,therapeutic interventions,therapy sessions,therapeutic modalities,cultural competence,multidisciplinary teamwork,risk assessment skills,treatment modalities,crisis intervention,empathy,interpersonal skills,trauma-informed care,electronic health record systems,suicide risk assessment,telehealth platforms,behavioral assessments,ethical considerations,psychoeducation,diagnostic criteria,mental health assessments,confidentiality,
