Job Description

    Role: Data Science ML & Optimization for Supply Chain Analytics Practice - Centre for Data & Insights What will you focus on Excellent understanding on Theory & Application of the Statistical Sciences in supply chain domain Conduct analysis to address critical business challenges faced by client teams working in different markets and industry across supply chain to recommend the best data and insights powered solutions Gathering business requirements to create high level business solution framework covering aspects of data science within supply chain & Technology Architecture Interface with client teams along with inputs from internal research and data insights teams to develop solutions for identified opportunities across supply chain using data science Build analytical use cases in AI and Machine Learning across supply chain Ability to work with large data sets and present findings / insights to key stakeholders; Outside-In thinking in using 3rd party data to bring meaningful insights to aid Supply Chain decision making End to End Ownership of Use Cases Self-starters with a curiosity and appetite for emerging usage of alternative data What skills and qualifications do you need Technical Skills o 7~10 years of Hands-on Data Science Programming in supply chain domain (at least in 2~3 function) o End to End Data Science Delivery, Proven Thought Leadership in Data Science Use Cases to Business Perspective. Use Case Harvesting, Scalability, Documentation & IP Creation o Data Manipulation & passion for -Programming - Python & R o Model Management & Production Perspective for Predictive / NLP & Cognitive Sciences o Build simulation & optimization models that diagnose supply chain problems and identify best or optimal solution. o Industrial or research experience in combinatorial optimization modeling (particularly mixed integer programming) and heuristic algorithm development (such as genetic algorithm, simulated annealing, etc.). o Good experience with any optimization modeling languages/solvers (Gurobi, Xpress, Cplex, GAMS, AMPL etc.) Education o M.B.A. (Operations / System) o B.E / B. Tech. / M. Tech - proven track of passion for Data Science o M. Sc. (Statistics / Mathematics) (Focused Institutes - IITs / NITs / IISC etc.) Soft Skills o Relevant Certifications in Programming & Data Science o Excellent written and oral communication with ability to clearly communicate ideas and results to business team o Laser focused on delivering outcomes with speed and agility & Team Building Ability o Self-driven and thrive in ambiguity,
