This is a unique opportunity to join an entrepreneurial team at the beginning and help shape the future of wealth solutions for customers.Our success will result from leveraging our investment expertise, and focusing on superior client experiences:Leading global asset management capabilities delivered through bespoke investment solutionsA digital-led, human supported delivery platformEmpowering customers with the tools, transparency, and platform to take control of their financial futuresBecoming the trusted platform for wealth solutions..As a Agile Scrum Master you will play a key role working with Business leaders and Product Owners within Fidelity International to facilitate and lead the delivery of a number programme workstreams in support Fidelity s International s wealth management aspirations.This is an internal customer facing and delivery focussed role with responsibility for the end to end delivery of technology change for the Wealth Programme. This role will be focussed on both managing the delivery of new application services and the alignment of a number of programme dependencies including product development, legal and compliance.You will ensure the core business goals are understood and will help shape large, high risk and complex initiatives. You will work collaboratively with solution architects, UX designers, product owners and the delivery teams in order to ensure that solutions address the requirements of the business.The successful candidate will have a detailed knowledge of working in an Agile environment using Agile tools and planning techniques. You will have experience working with full scale Scrum or Kanban, and be a competent user of Jira and Confluence.You will be required to effectively influence and assist key stakeholders, support multiple change initiatives and oversee and drive communication streams within the programme. A willingness to take on new challenges, collaborate and share knowledge freely with colleagues globally is also critical to success.Key Responsibilities

• Drive delivery velocity by indentifying and resolving factors slowing delivery.

• Plan deliveries to deliver value iteratively and as early as possible.
• Mobilise scrum team, ensuring undersanding and alignment on ways of working and scrum team roles.
• Lead scrum ceremonies: sprint planning, review, retrospectives and daily stand ups.
• Lead assigned delivery teams to perform day-to-day tasks, shielding them from outside distractions and facilitating removal of blockers.
• Plan and manage execution of solution analysis, design

• Develop real time and shared information delivery mechanisms like build radiators, dashboards and health metrics.

• Provides weekly status reports to Delivery Manager

• Carry out change impact assessments to identify change risk and required controls.

• Contribute to the establishment of best practices within the group

• Foster an environment of innovation, close collaboration and evolution in line with key organisation drivers

• Support the adoption of Agile delivery methodologies within both our Technology and Business team

• Identify key resource requirements, ensuring adequate plans for the recruitment, development and retention of the appropriately skilled resources. Identify future resourcing needs both in terms of skills and numbers, ensure pipeline of resources matches future demand

• Create a product team comprising of poly-skilled people with ability to work across different technology stacks

• Foster a culture whereby team members are empowered to make decisions in the best interest of the product and willingly take high personal accountability for their decisions & actions

• Guide the team such that they embrace the constructs of a high-performing, self-organising team ensuring team goals take precedence over individual goals

• Facilitate intelligent risk taking and use every mistake as a team learning opportunity. Encourage people to think out of the box and challenge norms smartly without diluting quality and controls in the production environment

• Continuously communicate within the team to ensure clear visibility and understanding of their individual roles and growth aspirations. Connect them with other appropriate opportunities within the team, department or the wider organisation.

• Lead by example and earn the respect of your team use principles from servant-leader concept.

• Be the senior counsel in the department and contribute materially into other departmental and organisational initiatives

Experience and Qualifications Required

• A strong understanding of Agile, overall 6 years of experience, with a minimum 1 year experience in performing scrum master role.

• Detailed understanding of wealth management and how digitalisation is transforming the sector
• Detailed understanding of discretionary fund management, wealth management investments flows & operations
• Experience of working in global wealth or asset management organisations
• Delivery responsibility for complex programmes of work, multi-year and cross functional with significant technology effort gained from a technology based career path
• Background in software Product Management and skilled in defining and prioritising feature backlogs
• Ability to work collaboratively with others and to navigate complex decision points
• Ability to pick up knowledge of the business, new technology areas, new processes/methodologies and apply these changes in the day-to-day working of the Technology organisation
• Proven track record of delivery with complex, multi-year and cross functional programmes of work
• Experience of delivering change to both internally built and vendor supplied solutions
• End to end delivery experience using formal agile or iterative techniques (Scrum, Kanban, Lean)

• Strong stakeholder management skills and experience presenting recommendations
• Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Ability to work in a team and individually
• Experience of delivering change using an offshore model
• Able to work to tight deadlines, and manage several tasks concurrently
